If any danger is detected, Pedestrian/Cyclist Emergency Braking⁵ will automatically brake from highway speeds to avoid a collision with a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist.

A dusk sensor will detect the daylight level and automatically turn on the headlamps when it starts to get dark. If it rains, a sensor located behind the windshield activates the wipers based on the intensity of the precipitation combined with the vehicle’s speed.

Using this system, you can determine a preset speed and the FIAT® (500e)^RED will maintain it during your journey. It also automatically adjusts to a pre-selected distance using throttle control and limited braking when slower traffic is detected ahead. The system can also warn you if you exceed your set limit.
